Sex Workers Arrested for 'Sleeping' with Positive #COVID19 Truck Driver

 


Three alleged sex workers have been picked from Bukedea town this afternoon by Teso COVID-19 surveillance team in conjunction with the police.

The three women under their umbrella Bukedea Team No Sleep spent a night with the truck driver who tested positive for COVID - 19, recently.

The driver made a night stop-over in Bukedea town before he proceeded up North a day after his samples were taken for testing from the Malaba border.

A few days later he was informed of his Coronavirus status hence his interception from the Northern part of the country.

According to the pandemic surveillance team, a couple of men (clients) within Bukedea who also came in contact with any of the three ladies will also be mapped and picked soon enough.
