Police Crackdown Tightens In Mbale-Several Vehicles impounded Amidst Lock down

Police in Mbale have impounded several cars and motorbikes whilst occupants have been detained for flouting directives.

Non-essential entities including Hardware stores that had defiantly opened have been shut down and owners detained.

One must need a valid national ID or passport to access Mbale town. Those without identification are being turned off especially along Mbale - Tororo road.
